Thank you for choosing our products. At kingbullbike.com, we take pride in delivering top-quality products and exceptional services to our valued customers. As part of our commitment to ensuring your satisfaction, we are pleased to offer you this Limited Warranty ("Warranty") for all products purchased in the U.S. or Canada on or after August 7, 2023 (the "Products").

This Warranty is provided at no extra charge and is issued by Kingbull electric bikes. It is designed to give you additional assurance and peace of mind when purchasing our Products. Please be aware that this Warranty is separate from and does not affect your legal rights as a purchaser of the Product, which may vary from state to state in the United States. Rest assured, this Warranty is an added benefit and is in addition to any statutory rights you may have.

We strongly encourage you to carefully read the manual(s) provided with each Product before embarking on your first ride. These manuals contain crucial safety information and essential details about assembly, proper use, and maintenance of your King Bull bicycle. For added convenience and to enhance your overall experience, we recommend registering your King Bull bicycle upon purchase at www.kingbullbike.com. Although registration is not mandatory to benefit from this Warranty, it enables us to provide you with superior service and support in the future.

As explained in the following sections, King Bull warrants its Products against defects in materials and workmanship when used in accordance with our published guidelines for a limited time from the date of original retail purchase. The guidelines encompass essential information found in technical specifications, user manuals, and service communications. "Original retail purchase" refers to the first-time purchase of the Product from an Authorized King Bull Retailer or directly from King Bull. Moreover, this Warranty may offer partial coverage that can be transferred to subsequent owners, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.

PRODUCTS COVERED

I. Original Retail Purchaser Warranty:

  1. King Bull-branded frames and frame sets: King Bull warrants the structural integrity of the frame or frame set to the original retail purchaser for a period of two (2) years from the date of original retail purchase. This warranty does not cover paint and graphics. A frame set refers to an King Bull-branded frame equipped with a King Bull-branded rigid fork. Suspension forks and suspension parts are not included in this definition.

  2. King Bull-branded components, equipment, and paint and graphics on King Bull-branded frames and frame sets: Enjoy a 2-year warranty from the date of original retail purchase. This includes parts such as motors and other drive system components on electric bicycles.

  3. King Bull-branded batteries equipped on electric bicycles:

    KingBull batteries are covered by a 2-year prorated warranty.

    During the first 2 years of service – A defective battery will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the customer. The warranty period for a repaired or replaced battery will remain unchanged from the original purchase date.

    No cash reimbursement will be made.

    Batteries can be assessed and found defective directly by KingBull only.

  4. King Bull-branded accessories and items not otherwise specifically covered: After-sales service is only applicable to malfunction issues discovered within 15 days of receiving the goods.

II. Subsequent Owner Warranty:

If you are a subsequent owner, meaning you are the second or later owner, and not the original retail purchaser, the following warranties apply:

  1. King Bull-branded frames and frame sets, including paint and graphics, components, and equipment: Enjoy a 2-year warranty from the date of original retail purchase.

  2. King Bull-branded batteries equipped on electric bicycles:

    KingBull batteries are covered by a 2-year prorated warranty.

    During the first 2 years of service – A defective battery will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the customer. The warranty period for a repaired or replaced battery will remain unchanged from the original purchase date.

    No cash reimbursement will be made.

    Batteries can be assessed and found defective directly by KingBull only.

  3. King Bull-branded accessories and items not otherwise specifically covered: After-sales service is only applicable to malfunction issues discovered within 15 days of receiving the goods.

Please Note:

  • Our warranties do not cover damage resulting from accidents, improper use, modifications, or failure to follow maintenance guidelines provided in the user manual.
  • Warranty claims should be initiated by contacting our customer service team and providing proof of purchase (order number or receipt).

SUBSEQUENT OWNER CONDITIONS

Yes. The warranty period is always calculated from the date of original retail purchase and King Bull needs to be able to determine when and where the Product was purchased originally. Proof of purchase should be obtained from the original owner or the Authorized King Bull Retailer who sold the Product.

WARRANTY LABOR

You will not be charged for labor incurred in the processing of Warranty for one year from the original retail purchase date.

TERMS OF WARRANTY

1. Proof of Purchase: To avail yourself of this Warranty, you must present a dated proof of the original retail purchase to King Bull. This requirement applies to both the original retail purchaser and subsequent owners. We kindly request you to retain and provide this proof of purchase when seeking warranty service.

2. Warranty Limitation: King Bull reserves the right to limit warranty service to the country where the Product was originally purchased. Warranty claims will be processed according to the applicable warranty policies of the respective country.

3. Warranty Coverage: During the duration of the Warranty, King Bull will provide one of the following options:

  • Repair: We will repair the Product to restore it to its original functionality.
  • Replacement: At King Bull's discretion, we may offer a replacement with the same or a comparable Product. Due to inventory constraints, the exact replacement part or color may not always be available.

4. Return of Product for Replacement: If the Product is replaced, it is required to be returned to King Bull before the replacement is provided, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by King Bull. Rest assured, you will not incur any charges for shipping the Product to King Bull or for receiving the replacement product during the warranty process.

UNCOVERED ITEMS

This Warranty is void under the following circumstances and does not apply to damage caused by any of the following occurrences:

  • Improper Assembly or Installation: The Warranty does not cover damage or issues resulting from improper assembly or installation of the Product. We strongly recommend following the assembly instructions provided with the Product or seeking professional assistance to ensure proper setup.

  • Crash, Neglect, Improper Repair, or Misuse: Damage caused by crashes, neglect, improper repair, or any form of abnormal, excessive, or improper use is not covered by the Warranty.

  • Corrosion: The Warranty does not cover damage caused by corrosion. Regular maintenance and care of the Product can help prevent corrosion and ensure its longevity.

  • Improper Alteration or Installation of Components: Any damage resulting from the improper alteration or installation of components, parts, or accessories not originally intended for or compatible with the Product is not covered by the Warranty.

  • Failure to Perform Maintenance as Per Instructions: To keep the Product in optimal condition, regular maintenance and service must be performed at appropriate intervals following the written instructions provided with the Product. Failure to do so may void the Warranty.

WEAR AND TEAR

We want to ensure that you have a comprehensive understanding of our Warranty coverage. Wear and tear, as a natural consequence of regular use, is a common occurrence in bicycles. Please be aware that wear and tear items are not covered by this Warranty. Such items are subject to normal deterioration over time and may require periodic replacement and maintenance to maintain optimal performance.

Definition of Wear and Tear: Wear and tear refers to the natural and inevitable damage that occurs as a result of normal riding and regular exposure to the elements. Despite proper maintenance, certain components will gradually wear out and may need replacement over time.

Examples of Wear and Tear Items: Below is a non-exhaustive list of typical wear and tear items that are not covered by this Warranty:

  • Bearings
  • Brake Pads
  • Chains
  • Free Hub Bodies
  • Handlebar Grips
  • Rubber Moving Parts
  • Shifter and Brake Cables and Casings
  • Spokes
  • Sprockets
  • Stripped Threads/Bolts
  • Tools
  • Transmission Gears

Paint and Graphics: Additionally, please note that scratches and other potential damage to the paint or graphics of your bicycle, resulting from normal use and exposure to the elements, are considered wear and tear and are not covered by this Warranty.

Minor Creaks and Noises: Over time, your bicycle may develop minor creaks or other noises during riding. Such occurrences are common and usually indicate a need for regular maintenance, which is considered part of wear and tear.

Maintain Optimal Performance: To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your bicycle, we recommend regular inspection, maintenance, and replacement of wear and tear items as necessary.

WARRANTY PROCESS INITIATION

The first step is to contact customer experience or an Authorized King Bull Retailer, depending on where the original purchase occurred. Your retailer or representative will inspect the Product and contact you for next steps. Contact your original Authorized King Bull Retailer or if purchased online, email us at customers@kingbullbike.com. 

SHIPPING DAMAGE COVERAGE

We understand the importance of ensuring your Product arrives safely and in perfect condition. While our Warranty covers various aspects of your purchase, it's important to note that damage to a Product during shipping is not covered by this Warranty. However, we are committed to providing you with assistance in such situations.

Shipping Damage Replacement Process: In the unfortunate event that your Product sustains damage during the shipping process, we have a streamlined process for replacement. To qualify for a replacement, please adhere to the following steps:

  1. Notify King Bull of Damage: Notify King Bull of any damage to the Product incurred during shipping within thirty (30) days of the date of your receipt of the Product. Prompt notification is crucial to expedite the resolution process.

  2. Provide Pictures and/or Video: Promptly provide King Bull with dated pictures and/or a video showcasing the damaged Product. This documentation will aid us in assessing the extent of the damage.

  3. Return Original Packaging and Paperwork: Please retain and return all original packaging and paperwork that came with the Product. This will help facilitate the replacement process.

  4. Inspect Product Immediately: Inspect the Product immediately upon receipt to identify any damage incurred during shipping. Prompt inspection is vital to determine the shipping damage accurately.

  5. Note Damage on Bill of Lading: If you notice any immediately recognizable damage to the Product upon delivery, please note these damages in clear detail on the shipper's Bill of Lading before signing off on the shipment.

Non-King Bull Shipping Methods: If you choose to use your own independent shipping method, such as a freight forwarder or similar service, please note that King Bull will not be responsible for the replacement of any Products damaged during such shipping methods.

 

DISCLAIMER OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES

This is a full and complete statement of king bull’s warranty for the product. No other representation of any kind by anyone shall create any warranty regarding the product. King bull’s liability under this warranty shall to the fullest extent permitted by law be no greater than the amount of the original purchase price and in no event shall king bull be liable for incidental or consequential damages or losses. This limitation does not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by king bull’s negligence.

To the extent permissible under applicable law, king bull hereby disclaims all implied warranties, including without limitation the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose for the duration of this express limited warranty.

Some states, provinces, or countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or warranties, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply. If it is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction that a certain provision of this Warranty does not apply, all other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
