I've had this bike about 4 months now, and it's made my life so much easier, especially now that I can use it for trips that I used to take public transportation; was never a fan of waiting for the bus. Also, fyi a speedometer sign clocked at 22 mph. One drawback is that the front brakes were not "plug and play;" they dragged; I didn't have the skills to adjust, them so took them off; had to have the bike mechanic reattach them. One more drawback that surprised me: I live in Chicago, a big city, but I was lucky because THE LOCAL BIKE REPAIR HAS THE ONLY MECHANIC IN THE CITY WHO WORKS ON ELECTRIC BIKES. Another mechanic said he and his colleagues are wary of them because the components are not standard; they vary depending who the manufacturer is.
